Alert!

Hello, reader! If you intend to post a link to this blog on Twitter, be aware that for utterly mysterious reasons, Twitter thinks this blog is spam, and will prevent you from linking to it. Here's a workaround: change the .com in the address to .ca. I call it the "Maple Leaf Loophole." And thanks for sharing!

Yet Another Love Letter to the Internet

Reason #9737465849 to get a blog, teachers. If you wait a few days, other people sometimes just do your work for you. :-) Thanks, Timon!

  1. I thought of another interesting (albeit cheesy) twist. Werewolves. Maybe make up some story about how they get "activated" if >x% of the moon is visible and include a special date for some sort of vampire party on winter solstice (because they like night) to see if they will clash.

Or more mundane (but also more realistic), something about a meteor shower being less fun if it's a full moon, so for the next Perseid meteor shower, will it be more or less fun?

Either of those might give a little bit more reason than just a passing inquiry about your own birthday or something else unrelated to the moon.
